CHAPTERS:

The Bylaws of Safeguard Iowa Partnership provide for the establishment of organizational chapters within any city, county, region, or geographical area of the state by the Board of Directors. Chapters chartered by the Board of Directors shall exercise all the rights and privileges delegated to said chapters within the geographical area specifically defined for said chapter. No other chapter may exercise any rights in the geographical area of another chapter without the written approval of the Board of Directors.

The purpose of the chapters is to:

• Identify gaps and issues for strategic planning purposes.
• Distribute information among partners.
• Network between public- and private-sector partners.
• Execute the Safeguard Iowa Partnership Strategic Plan.

Chapters chartered by Safeguard Iowa Partnership must conform to all requirements of the Safeguard Iowa Partnership Bylaws and adhere to all the provisions of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
