The Safeguard Iowa Partnership 7th Annual Meeting will be held in conjunction with the 11th Annual Iowa Homeland Security Conference on October 21, 2014 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center at Veteran's Auditorium.

The event is open to current and future partners. There is no cost to attend the annual meeting.

Keynote: Clearing Through the Smoke of Business Continuity
- On March 29, 2014 the downtown Des Moines landmark, Younkers building, caught fire causing significant damage to the building as well as neighboring businesses. A panel of leaders from EMC Insurance will discuss the impact the fire had on their facilities and operations, the importance of business continuity/disaster recovery planning and lessons learned from the incident.
