John Giduck, author of Terror at Beslan will be presenting on School Safety and Security. Learn what is necessary for our schools, police and first responders to 1) prevent; 2) defend against; and 3) respond to an active shooter attack against our children.

The training is based on detailed review of attacks across the United States and overseas. The attendee will have an understanding of what really happened in Bailey, Colorado; Nickel Pines, Pennsylvania; Virginia Tech and Northern Illinois University. The training will provide a clear understanding of the various types of shooters that are seen in our schools and universities as well as what motivates them. Attendees will be able to apply lessons learned from domestic attacks to their own emergency operations plans.

Cost: $5 per person (includes lunch and breaks)
