Workshop: Terrorism in Iowa: Issues and Prospects 2011

Led by Professor Bradley Dyke, Des Moines Area Community College Political Science, this workshop provides relevant information on terrorism in Iowa.  Class modules explore the characteristics of extremists, developing awareness versus spreading fear, decision making, civil liberties, and first response. 

 

The workshop is intended for community stakeholders including local law enforcement, emergency managers, school officials, local health, local business, and local leaders.
