Presenters will discuss how law enforcement agencies, community partners, and the general public can work together to foster a public that is more informed, aware, and ready to report suspicious activity related to terrorism.

Topics for discussion will center on:

  • Two newly released publications by IACP and FEMA and their use as tools to build or sustain your community’s efforts in identifying and reporting suspicious activities.
  • How Neighborhood Watch groups are currently training their members to be the “eyes and ears” of the community in a nationwide effort to prevent terrorism.
